Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive 5.4 km east on Hwy 7 from Hwy 62, then north on Hunt Club Road for 1.8 km; take right turn at intersection and drive 2.25 km to a right bend in the road. Take laneway on left and drive 320 m. Continue along laneway by foot from small culvert for 90 m.
1940 - 1956: Building Products Ltd. operated the rhyolite quarry for the production of roofing granules.
