Point Location Description: Pit Fe just south of property symbol 47 north of Madoc Village.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: North from Hwy 7 on Hwy 62 for 1.6 km. Turn right at Riggs Rd. and drive 1.3 km to farm at end of road. Walk to west end of swamp visible to NW of farm. Follow trail 170 m north of culvert. Pit is on left hand (w) side of trail in thicket.
1879-1880: 3,000 tons of ore were shipped by Cleveland and Brown, of Cleveland, Ohio.
