Point Location Description: Dot symbol ' mb ' S of Queensborough and W of Black River.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: On Hwy 7, W from Actinolite, take the Black River Road N to the end. Continue 700 m up the lane beyond the end of the road and then turn left (W) down another small lane for about 480 m (1,600 ft). The lane passes through a sandy area but resumes on the other side. The quarrry workings are on the right of the lane.
Circa1962: the Bonter Marble Co operated this small quarry - 15 x 18 m with a 2.4 m face - for unknown usage.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A fine-grained, pink-peach marble with small quartz stringers, weathering black.
