Access Description: Workings are located immediately S of Hwy 7 and W of the Skootamatta River (and on the other side of the old Madoc-Actinolite road from the James, Joseph property). See 86-ELZ-01 (OGS) or ' James, Joseph ', MDI31C11SW00035, for an access description.
Circa 1901 : 2 openings were put down on this property (lot 2) which adjoins the James, Joseph property (lots 2 and 3). See 86-ELZ-01(OGS) for a detailed description of the pits on these properties and their hazard. 1987-8 : Lacana Corp and Corona Corp carried out geological, geochemical and geophysical work on lots 4-6, con 2 - see MDI31C11SW00035 (James, Joseph) and MDI31C11SW00038 (Barry Occurrence).

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Gold mineralization in quartz veins and lenses, associated with arsenopyrite (and tourmaline, po, cp, py) at the contact between mafic metavolcanics and overlying clastic metasediments. Recent assays have been low and erratic, older ones up to 1 oz/t on the adjoining property.
