Access Description: Quarries are described as being immediately behind the church and behind the hotel and one is named ' Harrison's Quarry '.



Exploration History

Several buildings in Actinolite are built from local stone quarried in and around the village. One quarry was behind the hotel and one was behind the church. One quarry was named 'Harrison's Quarry', but it is not known where this was. 3 samples are listed. Another was known as the 'Actinolite Village Quarry' or the 'Woods Option'.
