Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - 86-ELZ-009 : Elzevir Granite. Grey granodiorite, medium-grained, slightly foliated with moderate jointing. Felsic stringers and quartz veining are rare, gneissic banding is local and irregular. This location is slightly coarser-grained than others in the Elzevir Batholith. It also exhibits a lower jointing frequency. The potential for quarry blocks is fair.
