Access Description: The occurrence may be reached by travelling west along the road from Queensborough for approximately 1 km and then north along a side road.
Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - GEOLOGY: The area is underlain by mafic to ultramafic metavolcanic rocks. The Elzevir granodiorite batholith lies to the east (LeBaron and van Haaften 1989). Lenses of talcose rock 2 to 15 m in width and up to 60 m in length occur within the metavolcanic rocks adjacent to the batholith. The occurrence is the northward extension of occurrence SE8 into Madoc Township, mapped by Dillon and Barron (1985).
