Access Description: Travel 5 km north from Cooper. Turn west and travel 100 m to first fork. Take the north lane and travel another 300 meters to second fork. Follow directions on sketch map to location (Res Geol 1986, Field Rpt).
Two pits were sunk on this lot apparently to examine some quartz veins though it is not stated what the target mineral was. S.B. Lumbers took grab samples from both pits in 1969 to assay for gold and silver. Both assays reportedly, failed to produce any values for either mineral (Res Geol. 1986, Field Rpt.).

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - The area consists of mafic metavolcanics with quartz carbonate veining. Both the metavolcanics and the veins are barren of any visible mineralization though the quartz shows iron staining in many instances (Res. Geol. 1986, Field Rpt).
