Access Description: Follow Hwy 62 north to Wolf lake Road, turn east onto Wolf Lake Rd. and then north onto old CN railway bed. Continue along railway bed until stream is crossed. Drive 1 km past this stream; this is approximately the midway point between the two streams. Then, walk east 150 feet (45m) to ridge. It is believed that the shaft was in this area.
A shaft, 20 feet deep, is reported to have been sunk in 1925 exposing a calcite vein 10 inches wide. The vein was traced approximately 200 feet by the pits and trenches, with the vein decreasing in size away from the shaft. (Res. Geol. 1986 Field Report).
