Point Location Description: Precise Property symbol Z 2.5 km west of Gunter Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive north from Bannockburn 7.0 km to Glanmire Lake Road. Turn left (west) and drive 1.1 km to Hastings Road. Continue through the intersection and drive 0.3 km to a fork in the road. Take the left fork and drive 2.5 km to a bridge past an abandoned farm. From the bridge, drive 1.85 km to a point where an old narrow path is barely visible on the left (south) side of the road. Follow this path for 23 m (75 ft) to the pit. The path exists 150 m west of the old right-of-way (on south side of road) and 53 m (175 ft) east of a forked private land on the north side of the road.
