Access Description: Drive north from Bannockburn to Cleveland Road. Turn right and drive to the four-way intersection. Turn right (south) and drive 650m to a lane with a gate on the right side (west) of the road. Travel 300m to a clearing with a camper. Walk 82.5m along a trail that leads approximately southwest to a fork. Take right fork travelling northwest 30m (100ft) to a clearing. Two old pits are situated 18m (60ft) into the clearing to the west.
No history available. The pits on the property seem very old. They may be part of Murphy Mine, though no work by them was recorded on this lot. (Res. Geol. 1986, Field Report).
