Point Location Description: Pit Fe just SE of property symbol 11 SW of Eldorado Village.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive 0.48 km south of Eldorado P.O. on Hwy 62. Turn right on Ruperts Rd. Drive 1.6 km and turn left. Drive south for 0.32 km and turn into farm lane on left. Walk 303 m along laneway to gate. Turn right and follow east edge of woodlot for 364 m. Cross fence, walk across clearing and follow old road for 36 m.
Before 1900: Mining was from an open pit 25 feet in diameter and 30 feet deep. Shipments in 1898 were 30 tons per day.
