Point Location Description: Quarry symbol in lot 16 conc. XI, SE of Malone.

Access Description: Turn east on a one-lane road at Malone, situated 1 km SE of Malone.
1963 - 1971: Six quarries were in operation. Marble used as blocks for pulp and paper industry, poultry grit, feed dust, terrazzo chips and crushed stone. 1984, 1985: Robert Guillet optioned the Bonter property in September 1984. An OMEP application was approved in 1984 and exploration of the property included prospecting, surface examination of the marble outcrops, geological mapping, diamond drilling and laboratory evaluation of drillcore samples. One hole was drilled for a total of 91.5m. 1992: Further drilling by Robert Guillet, 4 holes totalling 1155 feet. 1993: Robert Guillet performed sampling on the property funded by an OPAP grant (OP93-483)
