Access Description: Drive 20.05 km north on Hwy 62 from Cooper Rd. at Bannockburn. Turn right onto the Weslemkoon Lake Rd. and drive 2.45km to Gilmour. Take the right fork and drive 2.95 km NE out of town. Turn right onto the Snow Rd. just past small shack on right and drive 5.95 km to fork in road. Take left branch and drive 2.0 km (less than 200m past stone embankment across swamp). Walk 1230m past next swamp crossing (currently corduroyed). This is north of power line at a small clearing. Follow logging track leading north from clearing for 447m and walk left along elongated clearing for 162m to where clearing starts to peter out. Walk 495m at 320 deg (small stream at 347m). Stop at edge of Moira River marsh. Walk 259m north along marsh to stream running over bedrock. Walk 197m upstream to pond.(Res. Geol. 1982 Field Rpt).
1982: Pit overgrown and sloughed in, no longer in existence. Only evidence is waste rock including quartz (Res. Geol. 1986 Field Report).
