Point Location Description: Precise Property symbol AO just SW of Wadsworth Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Travel north on Hwy 62 for 20.05km from Cooper Road (Bannockburn) to Weslemkoon Lake Road. Travel east on Weslemkoon Lake Road to the fork in the road at Gilmour. Continue east (right fork) for 2.66km. Travel north 0.60 km up private lane to house. Continue along lane another 0.17km. The pit is found in a stand of mature cedars and birches 33m (110ft) east of the lane.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - Pit (25ft X 15ft X 6ft) dug by unknown prospector probably looking for gold. Rust-stained quartz float was observed, however no pyrite or sulphide mineralization was noted. (Res. Geol. 1986 Field Rpt).
