Point Location Description: Precise. 8.5 km SE of Gilmour.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: From Madoc, at the intersection of Hwys 7 and 62, drive 35 km north on Hwy 62 to the Weslemkoon Rd; turn right and drive east for 7.7 km to the Skootamatta Forest Access Road; turn right and drive south-southeast for 7.5 km to the Lingham Lake Road; turn right and drive south for 1.8 km. At this point a road heads west; follow this road for about 500 m; turn a compass bearing of about 310 deg. and traverse about 3 km.
1951: Canada Iron Mining Ltd. (Louis Moyd) performed ground magnetic survey using a dip needle (63.259). 1999: OPAP99-545, Jim Laidlaw performed reconnaissance work (sampling, prospecting) over this area.
