Ebonridge Quarries Limited was opened in 1921 by the Morrison brothers and operated until 1930. There are 2 small quarries, one is in pinkish-grey biotite granite, the other (MDI31C13SW00034) is in black, medium- to fine-grained diorite (IMR 19 p.16).
