Point Location Description: Pit, ' iron ', just NNW of Imp Lake and ENE of Lasswade, lot 27, con 2.

Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: From the junction of Hwys 62 and 620, travel W on Hwy 620 for 12.1 Km ( turn-off to the Coe Hill Mine ) but continue straight ahead. At 14.3 Km turn left onto the Wollaston Lake South road. At 18.2 Km turn off ( granite quarries ) and continue straight ahead to the mine. Bear right at the junction at 25.4 Km and left at 29.3 Km ( single lane road, not accessible to cars ). The mine is at 30.4 Km. See GSC MP 41, P92.



Exploration History

Pre 1899 : magnetite lens about 15 ft wide - open-cut in the side of a hill on lot 28, con 2. 1953 : 2 DDH ( 435 ft ) by Hubble ( for Ventures Ltd ? ). 1958 : DDH by Black Rock Mining Co.
