Point Location Description: Property marked ' copper ', 4.6 Km N of Lasswade.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Several pits on a ridge of biotite-feldspar gneiss in lots 31 and 32; the shaft is situated in about the centre of lot 32. 10 chains W of the road near the township corner.
Pits and a shaft ( 15 ft diameter, 30 ft to water ) opened at about the turn of the century for copper ( chalcopyrite ) - with a trace of gold and silver. Believed to have been fenced ( capped ? ) in 1979.
