Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - 86-GRI-007 : massive, medium-grained, grey-pink granite with 'salt and pepper' texture. There is regular, intense jointing. There are also aplite pods, pegmatite dykes, quartz veins and mafic inclusions. Potential for building stone is poor. Exposure, however, is good.
