Apr 30, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - The Cook Property is located within a belt of dolomitic marbles with subordinate calcitic beds approximately 500 metres north of the contact of underlying mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks. The dolomitic marbles are massive, very fine-grained and light brown-to-pink and buff white in colour. The marbles exhibit a plastic style of deformation along the contacts of amphibolite and quartz-feldspar porphyry dikes. A north to northwest-trending amphibolite dike intrudes the marbles and parallels the easternmost pits of the Cook Property.

Apr 30, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - The gold mineralization is associated with patchy arsenopyrite. A sample taken over a 1.2m wide section of brecciated dolomite in 1968 (Kingston) which hosted disseminated to massive sphalerite-chalcopyrite-pyrite-galena-tetrahedrite mineralization gave returns of 0.6% Cu, 6% Zn, 5% Pb, 7 oz/ton Ag, and 0.05 oz/ton Au. Assays taken in 1987 varied from 0.19 oz/t to 0.87 oz/t Au with an average of 14% arsenic. A dump sample collected by Pauk (1987) yielded 3.00% of arsenic and traces of gold, copper, and silver.
