May 28, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - Sillimanite hosted by pelitic schist and associated with garnet, staurolite and some kyanite. The occurrence is about 2.5 km long by 250 m wide and within this area about 40 % of the rock contains more than 20% sillimanite by volume. The pelitic schist unit dips steeply NW and is well-exposed in 30-50 m deep ravines (cross-fractures).
