Oct 30, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - The property is underlain by calcitic and dolomitic marbles with interlayers of calc-silicates, and pelitic schist, paragneiss and sillimanite gneiss containing up to 30% sillimanite. Christie’s mapping in 1994 (31C15NW2001) shows the zinc mineralization is hosted by calcitic marble horizons. These rocks trend NE-SW and are moderately to steeply dipping toward the north.

Oct 30, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - Disseminated sphalerite and pyrite in heavily silicified and brecciated marble; gold in cp-bearing quartz veins and sillimanite gneiss. Trench mapping and sampling by B.J. Christie returned assays of 28.52 g/t Au (grab sample), and 3737 ppb Au over 3.9m. Grab samples collected by Homestake Minerals in 1986 returned assays of 24 g/tonne Au and 296 g/tonne Ag. Gold with minor chalcopyrite and pyrite occurs in shear zones within dolomitic marble. The quartz gangue is bordered by a foot-wide reaction rim of tremolite. The best assay of grab samples yielded 0.25 oz/ton Au. A small sphalerite-pyrite occurrence was located on the east side of Green Lake in calcitic marble. Elsewhere pyrite, pyrrhotite, and magnetite occur primarily in paragneiss.
