Circa 1905 stripping operations conducted by Messrs Mills and Cunningham of Kingston, uncovers a feldspar prospect, (MBR #401). Prospect pit, 1.2 m deep sunk on a quartz and pink feldspar pegmatite, (AR Vol 56 Pt6).
