Sep 18, 2015 (A Wilson) - Other than for small flakes of graphite and a few inclusions of a micaceous siliceous rock, the limestone is free from visible impurities. Large exposures of pure, compact, bluish white, faintly striped marble.

Mineralization Comments

Sep 18, 2015 (A Wilson) - The marble assayed 1.56% SiO2, 0.26% Fe2O3, trace Al2O3,0.02% Ca2(PO4)2, 90.14% CaCO3 and 8.15% MgCO3.


Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - Minor amounts of graphite and mica.
