Exploration History

Circa 1890 a pit was sunk to a depth of 1.8 m on a vertically dipping quartz vein and vein zone about 1.5 m wide, that includes quartz stringers, mineralized wallrock and lenses of granite. Disseminated pyrite occurs in the zone. Prospecting was carried out in the vicinity for copper, gold and iron, (AR Vol 56 Pt 6).




Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - Disseminated pyrite occurs in a zone of quartz and adjacent wallrock, no assay values given, (AR Vol 56 Pt6).
