Access Description: On Map 1947-5 Olden-Bedford see dot symbol Py, 1.2 km South of Kirkham Lake.
A pit was sunk on a 1.5 m wide quartz vein zone comprised of small lenses and veinlets of quartz, with minor pyrite in the quartz stringers and the wallrock. The quartz vein is located at the contact between a band of granite gneiss and a mass of highly altered basic rock, (AR Vol 56 Pt6).
