Sep 17, 2015 (A Wilson) - In outcrop, excellently formed, coarse-grained, euhedral corundum can be found. The corundum, is limited to discrete zones. Corundum mineralization occurs in the anorthosite phases of the early mafic intrusives. The corundum is coarse-grained and euhedral and of interest mainly for mineralogical specimens. The corundum occurs as thick tabular crystals of a pearl grey to white in colour, which are uniform in size, being about ½ inch in diameter and up to 1 inch in length
