Lithology Comments

Sep 17, 2015 (A Wilson) - The small test pit shows magnetite in narrow bands at the north and south ends. The ore bands follow the strike of the enclosing gneissic rock and dip to the south.

Mineralization Comments

Sep 17, 2015 (A Wilson) - A picked sample assayed 67.6% Fe, but the average percentage of the of iron in any considerable tonnage would be low. The magnetite is mixed with gangue mater comprising calcite, mica and hornblende.
