Access Description: Property number 2 at North end of Craig Island on Map 2471 Sharbot Lake.
1959 Cremac Surveys Co. Ltd. Two diamond drill holes sunk: 1) one hole drilled to 93 m, intersected sparodic disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite with higher concentrations of sulphides in metasedimentary rocks that are cross-cut by granite pegmatite veins. A 0.6 m mineralized section assayed trace gold; 2) one hole drilled 122 m, intersected four zones of quartz veining containing abundant sulphide minerals within metasediments. Zone 1 shows 1.4 m thickness, assays 0.03% Ni, 0.03% Cu; Zone 2 shows 0.6 m thickness, assays 0.09% Ni, 0.05% Cu; Zone 3 shows 1.0 m thickness, assays 0.02% Ni, 0.0.05% Cu; Zone 4 shows 0.6 m thickness, assays 0.04% Ni, 0.07% Cu. The sulphide mineralization included pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, (GR 228).
