Aug 10, 2016 (A Wilson) - The formation consists of interbedded quartz sandstone, sandy dolostone, and dolostone. There is a net upward decrease in sand content. The sandy dolostone and dolostone beds are fine crystalline and weather light grey to brownish grey. The sandgrains in the sandy dolostone are coarse. All units are thin to thickly bedded.Three metres of March Formation was exposed at the quarry.
