Sep 16, 2015 (A Wilson) - Three to five feet of red-top clay, in places quite stoney overlies Erie blue clay which is also stoney. The red clay was used for the manufacture of red stock brick. The blue Erie clay is used for the manufacture of white stock brick, which are the finest brick of this class seen in the province.
