Access Description: From Perth, west along Hwy 7 for 4.03km turning right onto Harper Rd for 5.08km. Turn left onto Bathurst 7th Concession Rd and continue for 4.66km. Turn right onto Old Mine Rd and continue for 1.31km. Main pit down slope to left.
1921-28: Rock Products Ltd. – in production. Operations commenced on narrow surface showing of red feldspar.

Sep 07, 2016 (A Wilson) - Operations were commenced on a narrow surface showing of red feldspar, which, however widened with depth to 30 ft at the bottom of the main pit. The pit is 125 ft by 50 ft by 120 ft deep and yielded a large tonnage of good quality spar. A second, smaller pit was opened on lot 21, from which 2000 tons are stated to have been taken. The deposit consisted of a large pegmatite mass, most of which exhibited a medium to fine-grained graphic character and contained rusty zones. Shipments were stated to have consisted mostly of a No. 2 grade spar.
