Exploration History

1920-1921: Feldspar Quarries Ltd.- shallow pit opened, 150 by 60 ft. A few cars of feldspar are reported to have been shipped from the property in 1919 by J.H. Mendels of Perth.

Lithology Comments

Sep 07, 2016 (A Wilson) - Much of the rock was of low grade. The deposit which lies near the south shore of Christie Lake, consists of reddish feldspar, rather intimately mixed with considerable black mica, tourmaline and quartz and much of the rock is accordingly of low grade.
