Mineralization Comments

Sep 11, 2015 (A Wilson) - Barite occurs as a single vein, striking northwest and having a maximum width (as exposed in the surface pits) of approximately 2 feet. The ore is massive with a platy structure. Crystallized barite is common in druses. An analysis of the ore made up of material taken from the stock pits at the various openings on the vein assayed 95.26% BaSO4 and 4.00% SrO2.
