Nov 27, 2013 (A Wilson) - The sandstone is buff-grey in colour, fine-grained, and has sub-angular to rounded grains in a siliceous matrix. The sandstone is dense and locally the matrix is calcareous. The Potsdam Formation forms the lower4.6 m of the section that was drilled

Mineralization Comments

Nov 27, 2013 (A Wilson) - Scattered grains of magnetite were observed within the sandstone. A hole drilled by the Ministry of Natural Resources in 1978 returned an assay of: 99.1% SiO2, 0.222% Fe2O3, 0.60% Al2O3, 0.03% MgO and 0.051% CaO.
