Point Location Description: Property symbol ' Q2 ', 7 km NNE of Warsaw.

Access Description: Along the bank of the Indian River. Accessible from S Dummer 4th Line Rd.
1970 : opened by E.W.Payne and licenced for an area of 11.34 ha and production of 13,000 tons / year. In 1987 it was described as a seasonal operation worked by 1 or 2 individuals, producing 800-900 tons / year. The quarry produced specialty stone products - flagstone, retaining wall stone, gabion stone, etc. It was active in 1990 and covered an area of about 2 ha to a depth of 0.6 m. 2023: the quarry is no longer licensed and appears to be flooded from satellite imagery.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The lower member of the Gull River Formation is quarried. It is light grey to grey-brown with lithographic texture and the several units of various thicknesses are each extracted for a particular stone product.
