Apr 27, 2007 (D Laidlaw) - The Shadow Lake Formation limestone is red and siliceous. Below this flagstone is a bed of red-coloured siliceous limestone more than 12 inches thick, which may have dimension stone potential. Section A-1 consists of following formations: Bobcaygeon Formation: 0.88 m; Gull River Formation: 8.25 m; Shadow Lake Formation: 3.87 m. (OFR5331)
