Point Location Description: Precise, map symbol Py, Cp on Miskwaa Ziibi (previously Squaw River) just S of Hwy 36.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
OGS staff documented several mineral occurrences along Miskwaa Ziibi River (previously named Squaw River). These occurrences occur in concessions 11 and 12 and lots 19 to 24; concession 11, lot 27 and concession 9 lots 31 and 32. Occurrences are reported and discussed in map M2475, R230, OFR5431 and OFR6229.

Apr 15, 2024 (Nazha Sabiri) - Sample 07RME-0801; collected from an area where local concentrations of magnetite, hornblende-magnetite or biotite-hornblende-magnetite were observed assayed 153 ppm Cu, 162 ppm Pb and above 2900 ppm Zn.
