This property has intermittently produced lime since the turn of the century, and was purchased in 1972 from Indusmin Ltd. by Cedarhurst Crushing and Quarries Ltd., a subsidiary of K.J. Beamish Construction Co. of Thornhill, Ontario (Limestone Industries of Ontario 1989, Vol 2, p12).
