Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - All exposed and quarried rocks belong to the Lower Gull River Formation. Quarried stone includes grey limestone, buff limestone and grey dolostone. Listed below are the detailed descriptions of the quarried stone: 1. Grey, brown,oolithic , pelletoid, fine grained, moderately fossiliferous limestone. 2. Green, grey and brown, fine to med. grained,succrosic, weakly-bedded dolomitic limestone. 3. Light brown, fine-grained, mottled, bioturbited, moderately fossiliferous dolomitic limestone (Calcisiltite).
