Access Description: The shaft is located 150 m E of the W boundary of the lot.
Circa 1906 : a shaft, 45 ft (13.5 m) deep, was put down by A.Y. Hopkins. It is now almost completely overgrown.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The shaft was sunk on a pyrite-galena vein, about 6 inches (15 cm) wide, in marble. Galena was also reported to be disseminated in the wall rock but none has been found recently.
