Nov 05, 2013 (A Wilson) - The Cedar Lake occurrence lies adjacent to the margin of a large block of dolomite in the Denna Lake Structural Complex. It is possible that this localization of graphite occurrences is due to the migration of carbon from organic structures within the dolomite block, or it is related to faulting and shearing along the margins of the block.
