Mineralization Comments

Jan 29, 2017 (A Wilson) - Radioactivity in pegmatitic granite within the border phase of the Cheddar granite is erratic and discontinuous. Strong radioactivity is usually associated with hematization and smoky quartz; and, in the north part of the property, with traces of fluorite. In the North group, a pegmatite reading up to 70 times background is exposed. In the south group several anomalous zones up to 1600 feet long have been established. Rock trenching and chip sampling on the North and South groups returned assays of 0.22 lb U3O8 per ton over widths of 13 and 34 feet respectively.
