Point Location Description: Point 0.6 Km W of Tallan Creek on Hwy 620.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: From the junction of Hwys 620 and 28 at Apsley turn east and drive 0.2 ml to the stop sign, turning left to Chandos Lake. Drive 4 ml to the largest roadcut. Occurrence is believed to be W of the location point in lot 4 rather than lot 7.
Province: Grenville
Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Mineral location - ( red and black ) garnet, (green ) diopside and ( black ) tourmaline. Some black garnets have been found in or near the woods to the left of the cut - see also MP 39, P46.
