Jan 17, 2017 (A Wilson) - In the south half of lot 16 concession 9, a granite pegmatite mass 200 ft. east of the Buckhorn road is exposed at the west side of a swamp north of Higgins Lake. The mass has an exposed width of 110 ft., the west side being in contact with diopside rock. In the north half of lot 16 concession 9 a bulldozed area exposed red to deep-brick-red leucogranite with pegmatitic patches. Uranium mineralization occurs in east-trending ridges of red syenitic granite.

Jan 17, 2017 (A Wilson) - Hole 7, 71.0-71.5 ft: 0.09% U3O8.; Hole 15, sample 10745, 150-155 ft: 0.16% U3O8; Hole 27, #11804, 186-190 ft: 0.15% U3O8, #11807, 197.5-200 ft: 0.20% U3O8; Hole S-36, #1188, 118-120 ft: 0.20% U3O8; Hole S-6, #729, 10-11.5 ft: 0.41% U3O8; Hole 44, #11919, 360-362 ft: 0.26% U3O8. Geiger readings in test pits reached 200 to 400 times background. A typical channel sample assayed 0.03% U3O8 (chemical) and 0.07% U3O8 (radiometric) over 5 feet. Assays from the Drude Uranium Mines Ltd. drill program returned the following assays - Hole 4 83.6 m, 0.10% U3O8; DDH 3B, at 137.89 m assayed 0.012% U3O8. Assays from Briar Court Mines Ltd. DDH 1 (1969) returned assays of 75-85 ft: 0.16 oz/t Ag, 0.02% Pb, 0.02% Zn; 90-96.5 ft: 0.02% Zn; 85-90 ft: 0.22% Cu. Assays from R. Drude trenching include: 0.19% U3O8, 0.175% U3O8 ; sample 1: 0.594% U3O8; 0.171% U3O8 The radioactive mineralization is associated with a fault fracture pattern along the margins of the granite and syenitic bodies that intrude the metasediments.
