Access Description: On the SW slope of a hill.
Mineral location : lepidomelane, apatite, plagioclase, fluorite, magnetite and pyrite. 1925 : prospecting for mica opened up caves (solution cavities) in a pegmatite - 3 x 10 ft x 8 ft deep.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A pegmatite in nepheline syenite, rich in black mica and calcite, where prospectors opened up large cavities containing these scattered minerals. Lepidomelane was 1 inch -3 feet across, black and corroded; apatite was 1/2 inch- 18 inches long with a max of 4-5 in diameter, asparagus green and somewhat corroded; fluorite was purplish.
