1955 : Hylight Uranium Mines Ltd held 37 claims between Farquhar and Elephant Lakes. Stratmat Ltd explored these with 7 DDH (1,946 ft). Only DDH # 1 intersected a few narrow bands of granite pegmatite (S half of lot 12, con 2).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The property is underlain by marble, amphibolite, paragneiss and granite gneiss cut by granite pegmatite dykes.
