Point Location Description: Point 0.25 km S of Haliburton.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: In Haliburton, from the MTC viewing area on top of the hill. The workings are about 1/3 of the way down.
Late 1890s : reputedly worked for gold. A drift runs into the side of the hill for 30-70 ft but there has been some collapse. 4 samples were assayed (# 82-8-1 to 4) but no results reported.

Subprovince: Central Gneiss Belt
Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A marble skarn zone (?) with a conglomerate (or possibly concretions). Some visible pyrite.

Notes: This occurrence was visited on December 4th, 2003. No opening to the adit could be found below the lookout. There is some evidence of where the adit might have been - what looked to be like two walls could be seen. The entrance was totally concealed and presumed to have caved in.
