Apr 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - Granitic gneisses and biotite and/or hornblende-bearing gneisses trend north-northwest and dip west-southwest. Two radioactive zones have been investigated. In the south zone, radioactive minerals are confined to a bed of red meta-arkose (granitic gneiss). In the north zone, uranophane and possible uraninite occur in a coarse leucocratic pegmatite.
